[Soekris] SanDisk Extreme 32GB wont probe

I have a Soekris net5501 and I'm trying to use a 32 GB SanDisk Extreme
(SDCFX3-032G) and I can't get the BIOS to probe the card. Where it
would have printed the LBA it simply hangs:

The cursor just sits directly below the "C" in "CPU Geode LX 500
Mhz". If I remove the SanDisk it works fine and the Hitachi SATA disk
I have in it works great. If I disconnect the SATA disk the same thing
happens. I've updated to the 1.33c BIOS also with out luck.

Does anybody have any ideas for me?
