There were problems with Sandisk cards a year or two ago.  I think phk
posted on this, and I was not able to get one to work with a hard disk
last year.  These problems may be solved now.

A few weeks ago I installed a Kingston 4GB 266x card in a new 5501 with
a WD 500GB SATA disk and it all appears to work fine (UDMA).
