[Soekris] Ethernet Led.. doesnt link a lot

Hello,

      I got noticed when there is a few more of traffic.. something like ~300kb\s its start to stop blinking.. and turn off ... and
      sometime it never turn on again.

      Why that? Someone know how to fix it?

      p.s. Someone know a software wich read the traffic on one interface (for linux) and execute a command ? I want to make a new led
      for VPN Interface traffic.
