[Soekris] Flash does not boot after removing and FS doubt

Hi there,

I've finally installed Mandriva 2009 into a Flash card for my soekris 5501.  
I've realized a strange behaivoir.  After turning off OS (with normal 
commands, I got system halted), i remove flash card and then I put it again 
Flash card doest not boot anymore.  Is this normal, why?  If not, how I can 
fix this.

I'm using a Kingston 2GB Flashcard with JFS as filesystem.  I've read that JFS 
is better for flashcards because it use new blocks rather than write them 
again.  What FS do you recomend me, why?
