[Soekris] hard reset required on soekris box when connecting via xp (non-html)

4.3 won't help this problem.

"ifconfig vr# media auto" (replace # with the correct number)
should also unwedge it. I also see this when I repeatedly
plug/unplug a connection to some types of switch.

Affected interfaces can transmit but not receive.
