[Soekris] hard reset required on soekris box when connecting via xp (non-html)

Connect to what, using what method? How is the XP box linked to the  
Soekris box?

If the Soekris is working via serial, why is a hard reset required to  
do what you want to do? The linux box is attached via serial or  
ethernet?
