Honestly, any newer flash card will do and does great at wear leveling. I
have experimented with various cards.... some being junk no name cards, and
can't really seem to tell any difference in any of them. I mainly use the
standard SanDisk SDCFJ cards for nearly anything... a gig runs about 20$
online... which is more then enough for anything I do (NanoBSD.. see my
site..)
I have the various no name / have no clue of the name cards in production
working great, like I said. I even log the crap out of stuff on 2 of the
boxes as an experiment... and all seems well after a month and a half. I
have never really had a problem with any flash, so stick with SanDisk and
you should be -extra- fine...haha. A little hint... you can get some good
"lot" deals on ebay if you go in on some with a friend. I got 10 512
sandisk cards for 32$ once! hope this helps.. i'm sure others will chime in.
have a good one.. good to see some more FreeBSD users.
