Hello,
I have several net4801 and recently I begin some benchmarks to
measure maximum bandwidth through a net4801 router. I put a
net4801 between two boxs:
|Box1(10.0.0.2)|--|sis0(10.0.0.1) Soekris net4801 sis1(192.168.0.1)|--|Box2(192.168.0.2)|
When I start Iperf[*] between Box1 and Box2... Soekris net4801
always reboots after few seconds! I use OpenBSD 4.3 on the
Soekris and I test with PF enabled (first seconds, speed is about
25 MBps) and without PF enabled (first seconds, speed is about 80
MBps). I test it with several net4801 (bought on different date)
and with several power supply and I reproduce the problem
everytime! Of course with a low traffic (for example 10 MBps),
I have no problem and it works like a charm.
Any idea about this problem? Do you think it could be a bug with
sis(4) or OpenBSD? It's hard to debug because the crash is a
sudden reboot without information...
