Not sure about the 4801 specifically, but I noticed I got a bit of a
performance boost on my 5501 by going to RELENG_6. I was able to
live lock the box with 100Mb of traffic using 800byte packets before.
It now is able to push 500 byte packets at 100Mb, so there seems to
be some network efficiency gained from the RELENG_6 I was using
before (july 2007). The vr driver had not changed in that period so
its not that.
