[Soekris] SATA hard drives for 5501

hello all,

i am interested in purchasing one of the soekris 5501 boards for use as a
home firewall, small web server, etc. i would like to run openbsd off of it
with an SATA hard drive, since the 5501 has an SATA port. my question is, is
the hard drive powered by standard cabled means, or must i get an external
power supply or adapter cord to make it work through the 5501?

any explanation is greatly appreciated.
