[Soekris] Geode Auto Halt Problem in net4826

Hi all,
    Is anyone aware of the soekris auto halt problem, where the geode
processor goes into a sleep mode and even the clock stops ticking (tsc
is not incremented). Is there a patch available to solve the auto halt
problem for linux kernel. We are running customized version of
2.6.16.19.
