And that daemon should be up and running before the timeout is reached,
hence the 30s reset at boot. At least on OpenBSD, the kernel seems to
start counting down immediately at boot. Maybe watchdogd should initiate
the first countdown at boot time. Topic for one or more OS-related
lists?
