[Soekris] comBIOS update failure; connected but can't upload. help?

I use
 	tip soekris

You will an entry like the following in /etc/remote:

 	soekris:dv=/dev/cuad0:br#9600:pa=none:

Change the 'dv' and 'br' entries to suit your system and follow the 
steps below. Basically the string below are the keypresses you need.

 	<Enter>download<Enter>~Clsx b4501x_126a.bin<Enter>

You can exit tip with

 	<Enter>~.

To flash a board:
-----------------
- Start tip on your machine on the port connected to your soekris.
- Start the board
- Press Ctrl-P to enter the boot monitor
- Enter 'download' to switch the soekris to download.
- Upload the selected image through entering
         ~C      # which is 'tilde' and then capital 'c'
   and then entering on the 'Local command' prompt:
         lsx b4501x_126a.bin
- The XMODEM Transfer will start (takes about 2 minutes on 9600 baud).
- Enter the command
         flashupdate
         reboot

Note: After rebooting in some cases the device claims that there is no 
boot drive. Enter the commands:
         set bootdrive=80 81 F0
         reboot
