i will be using a hard disk. i'll probably get one of these
highly-rated, very-quiet Nexus fans:

with a dust filter on it. it's 25mm thick, and although i'm not
thrilled about the aesthetic, will mount on the outside.
this may be an internal option @ only 15mm thick,

but it's lower air-flow, and i can't find one (yet) in the US, anyway
... i'm sure there are alternatives.
