Yes, we know, this was the only scraps of notes we managed to get  
copied onto our internal website.

The original purpose was to find out why our newer FBSD54 and FBSD62  
Soekris boxes seemed to perform so much worse in the field.  We did  
run 1000 byte packets and they were dismal as well on 5.4/6.2.

Also, nearly every system binary uses 50-60% more real memory, which  
has effectively made all our 4511 w/32Meg RAM obsolete.

Anyway, no big deal, I'm just glad to FBSD 6.x seeming relatively  
stable on our web servers and such after the 5.x tree being such a  
disaster.
