You need to be careful with PCI cards in general with the Soekris boards..
This goes for the person looking for the "Y" adapter as well
The PCI slot used on their boards are 3.3V only (according to their
specs). if you go to install a PCI card and think "Oh, the slot is
backwards", it's like that for a reason. The PCI standard has a few
different keyings, each for various power ratings. putting a 5V card
(the "backwards one")into a 3.3V slot would be A Bad Thing(tm).

For the "Y" adapter issue, you might be able to get away with using a
PCI riser card, but I don't think so. the riser cards I've seen all
require separate connections for each riser card slot such that there's a
1:1 relationship between riser card slots and motherboard slots. That's
just my experience. someone else may have discovered otherwise.
