Sure, but if you don't compile say the "vr" driver you won't get any  
ethernet.  (Hmn, the "vr" driver / VIA chip doesn't support the long  
VLAN frames?)

Others might be interested in enabling the SATA port too for example  
- the current documentation doesn't say which SATA chip is used, so I  
was hoping one of the few with a board could tell.
