[Soekris] net 5501 not powerful enough?

If I use a Zaptel PCI device then I need to translate between codec to slin.
Highbitrate detoriates quality becoz of low bandwidth internet available to
the device. Thought of trying 4 zap channels with GSM codec, looks like I
can't.

If I want to use without translation, I can go for cheaper alternative with
openwrt routers which I'm using right now.
