I have a nearly-new unit (from summer 2006).  It supports latest
CF cards.  I have read that new CF cards do not work on old net4801
units... there is a thread on this matter on soekris-tech@, do not
remember the date of the thread however.

I would expect this unit support DMA, as the problems described on
that thread do not happen on this unit of the excellent net4801
appliance.
