Pyramid ( http://pyramid.metrix.net ) is not a ram based distro however
we provide a kernel and initrd for boot strapping that use a ram disk
and can run without touching the local disk. It may be possible to just
copy prism2_srec and the firmware images to the initrd image, since its
dependencies seem pretty lite:

compost$ ldd prism2_srec
        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0xffffe000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6 (0xb7e5a000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7f94000)
