Hi,
#1, you're going to run into problems powering all that. The soekris
may not be able to supply enough voltage when those cards are tx'ing,
resulting in lockups/reboots.
#2, it sounds like some engineering may be in order here. You said
in another thread that you are using rubber duck antennas, and you
appear to not realise what antenna gain is all about. I would suggest to
you firstly that even low power wireless cards - with the right antennas
- can go literally miles and miles, and secondly, that this technology
is really intended for open space operation - eg: open rooms or outdoor
enviroment without obstructions. You should review what you're trying to
do, with an eye twords the first comment of low power cards going miles,
and a second with a view to working with your enviroment instead of
against it (by higher power output to overpower whatever limit you're
hitting). Good antenna selection and placement will overcome high power
output almost any day of the week....
