[Soekris] voltage questions

The battery of a 24V system will go as high as 29.4V during charging
so you would be 47% over spec.

If you only have the soekris as load, I would stick with the 12V
system, the current is so low that the performance difference
between a 24V and 12V is insignificant.

If you have other, heavier loads, go with the 24V system and put
a small DC/DC converter in front of the soekris.
