[Soekris] Board lockups in recent batches

Hi Gang,

I've begun to experience a problem where certain boards will lock up
upon loading the ethernet driver (linux natsemi and the dp83815 supplied
on soekris website). The symptom usually is that it will boot fine the
first time, and then upon warmboot it will hang. But not consistiently.
I did send one back to soekris for rma and test but they couldn't
reproduce the problem, and then I realised that the wireless card wasn't
shipped with it either. The boot order doesn't load wireless drivers
until well after the ethernet, and I've examined my code and there is
nothing but a trivial setup of /dev/random which happens immediately
before the next thing which would create a kernel message on the
console. The ethernet drivers do wait at several points for certain
hardware initializations and so I'm just idly wondering if there could
be a minipci problem of some kind that would cause the ethernet drivers
to hang? Anyone?

Mike-
