[Soekris] Power supply /

hi, 


when I read the 5501 specs it says "Power using external power supply is
6-25V DC", does it mean that I can use a 16v supply? ... I have a couple of
spare small 16v 4,5A PSU's .... I have issues when powering up the 5501
incl. a 2.5" hard drive, making a quick calculation tells me that the std
12v 1,5A Soekris supply is on the limit (18W max) and the 5501 and a 2,5"
drive takes (12,3W + 5W during start up = 17,3W)
