[Soekris] net4801 and Transcend 8 GB CF Card?

I'd used 128M Transcend cards a while without any problem, then a new
charge failed to run in 3,3V IDE mode, which is used by Soekris
(and others).
There were reports on this list about problems with Transcend as well.
It would be great to hear that newer cards work again, but I don't want
to buy a another one myself unless there are positive reports.
