No, "CPUTYPE?=pentium-mmx" would be the correct value, see gcc(1) man
page and/or /usr/share/examples/etc/make.conf.

'make kernel' reads /etc/make.conf and uses the CPUTYPE variable
unless NO_CPU_COPTFLAGS is set, see make.conf(5) man page.
