Hello.

I am not really sure about the behaviour of the error led, but
I think that it currently remains on until the soekris starts
booting up the operating system.  If the soekris does not find
a bootable device (an internal HDD/CF or an external tftp server)
this led will not be turned off.

I read some time ago a proposal to add a more intelligent behaviour
to the error led in a future firmware upgrade.  Perhaps someone is
working on this improvement, but right now the led remains on
until the operating system starts booting.
