[Soekris] Corrupted MAC on input

Hello all,

I did some googling and found that I am experiencing what looks to be  
a common problem with the 4801 board and VPN 1411 chip. I can connect  
via ssh but after some random amount of time the connection is  
dropped with a message stating "Corrupted MAC on input". I installed  
openbsd 3.9, and since I originally thought it was a problem with the  
OS I looked searched the obsd lists first. I've found several threads  
on misc at openbsd and soekris-tech, but none of the threads have a  
definite solution to this problem. It does not occur if I do not have  
my vpn1411 chip inserted. Is the card broken? Is the board broken? If  
so what is the recommended course of action? The error occurs if I  
connect via my wireless interface or one of the ethernet ports, via  
my laptop (mac os 10.4) or desktop (freebsd 6).

I am very happy overall - this error is the only thing that has gone  
wrong. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
