Sorry about the late reply; I was out of town and then busy with work.
No, I haven't managed to figure it out, although I really haven't been
working on it lately, as work as demanded too much of my time.
I did see Adam James' in
<20060629190655.30def70f at heliosphan.lan.kernelpanic.co.uk> talking about
not enabling PPS_SYNC in the kernel, "as the CPU_ELAN_PPS code doesn't
play well with it." Unfortunately, it appears that turning off PPS_SYNC
turns off the PPSAPI as well, rendering the Oncore and PPS refclocks
useless. He also says,, "According to the NTP Atom driver documentation
[0], it's best not to use it anyway." This I can't confirm, as I find
no mention of it in the documentation to which he refers. I find it
unlikely, however.
With luck I'll have some time over the next few weekends to work on
this, but in the meantime I'm at status quo.
