I'm tearing my hair out here, trying to get a net4511 to work
properly. I'm using a 2.6.17.13 kernel; the bootloader kicks in and
all seems to be fine.
During bootup, it prints out a lot of messages, then finally gets to:
ide0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7,0x3f6 on irq 14
hda: max request size: 128KiB
hda: 250880 sectors (128 MB) w/1KiB Cache, CHS=980/8/32
hda: hda1
Using IPI Shortcut mode
Freeing unused kernel memory: 112k freed
... at which point it completly locks up. I've turned on a bunch of
kernel debugging options, nothing gets printed out.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? I can provide my kernel
.config, disk images, or anything of the like.
