[Soekris] High failure rate on soekris PoE

Hi list,

    We've not mentioned this previously and I feel dumb for not speaking 
up, but we seem to have had an awfully high failure rate on the soekris 
PoE power supplies and have had to pull more than 20 out of the field 
for confirmd defects, and the remainder on the suspecion that they'll do 
it to. The issues seem to come down to  two things - ethernet errors 
being introduced by the devices, and random reboots. Both symptoms are 
absolutely resolved when replacing the poe with another model (Canopy 
12v, in fact), and the problems usually begin after they've been in the 
field for 6 months or longer. A typical installation is a home location 
so moisture and other enviromental factors is not a concern. And I don't 
think it was just a single bad batch either, due to the length of time 
over which we had been buying them.

    Anyone else have similar problems?
