Right.  A window manager is actually fairly little overhead per se.  (A
lot of window managers are bloated resource pigs, but that's a
completely separate issue.  Just because a WM *can* be a resource pig
doesn't mean it *must* be.  My own (severely minimalist) WM, for
example, runs in less than 200 KB of memory, according to ps.)
