List of Known-Good CF Cards?

Greetings all,

Just wondering if anyone can confirm a list of known-good Compact Flash cards for the net45x1 boards. I've used many variations, and the only ones that seem to have performed correctly in all aspects appear to be some old Lexar 4x 64 MB cards that are no longer available on the market. For example, with a batch of 512 MB Kingston cards I've been unable to reboot (the card is not detected by BIOS upon a warm boot). I've seen that issue elsewhere on the list, for what it's worth, but I don't believe there was a solution besides trying another card. In addition, I've had issues with a set of Q-Memory-branded Lexar 64 MB 60x cards where the disk seems to gain corruption randomly (to my eyes, at least). It's never on the same block, it appears to affect multiple files (which should only be read, not written), and prevents a boot in most cases.

I know there _were_ issues with flash cards in the past, but was under the impression that most had been fixed in BIOS v. 1.28 (which I'm currently running). If I'm missing something obvious, for instance if the speed of the cards is an issue, please let me know. Otherwise, any succcess you've had with a specific card (Manufacturer, Speed, Size, any other relevant information) would not only help me, but hopefully provide a reference for others looking to get started with the Soekris boards.

Thanks,

John Weigele
