I dont think the power supply fried in the first place becoz the box boots
up fine without this card and looking to work fine. Having said that since
it smoked i have another net4801 box into which i have'nt plugged the
PCI/PCMCIA card.
So with that net4801 box what are my options as far as this PCI/PCMCIA card
is concerned? Also what are the other cards that are known to work well with
net 4801?
The other thing is you said i have fit the card backwards into net4801. If
this was the case the PCI/PCMCIA card should'nt have keyed into the slot in
the first place. When i plugged the PCI/PCMCIA card into the net4801 it
fit/keyed in well. I plugged it in after carefully looking at the pins.
