Hi,

After googling In found few information about fan on net4801.

I had some boxes with hard-drive that are too hot.
I buy one 30x30x7mm 12v 8000rpm fan that I put inside the box with  
handmade hole on one side an the temp go from 70°C to 57°C with  
external power for the fan. It was a proof of concept mod.

Then internal 6-pin power connector is ground-ground-power ??-5V- 
control-control. I have an external 12V converter.

I plan to use 30x30x7mm 5V 4200rpm: Is it safe to take power for the  
fan directly on ground-5V power connector ? If not, what is the best  
solution ? with 5V or 12v fan ?
