[Soekris] 4526 With 2.6 kernel,new atheros mini pci

Does anybody have any experience getting a Senao EMP 8602 400mW to work with
a 4526, (or any other model , really). I'm using Metrix Pyramid Linux beta
distribution and I'm having troubles getting it to not reboot.  Also, I'm
not convinced the driver is really turning the power on to the card
correctly. I also have a xg-621 card that works ok, but the power output is
less than my linksys wap 54g. I'm using 7db omni antennas.  I thought that
rebooting problem was a power issue, but I'm not so sure it isn't  the
Madwifi driver. If anybody has gotten this combination to work, or something
similar, please let me know. I would really like to get this working for an
outdoor access point.
