[Soekris] mini pci dead

I have a couple of net4501's  it appears that both have developed a problem
with the mini pci slot.  I have tried two Atheros Wireless cards in both
units, both will not find the wireless cards.  I am using the net4501's with
Monowall.  They just implemented Freebsd support for the atheros cards.  Is
there anything I can check or do?  I am powering the units from a 12VDC
800ma and a 16vdc / 700ma power supplies.
