[Soekris] Possibly dying net4801?

I've had this unit for over a year now, and the past few months its been
locking up randomly. I can't find any similarities as to why, traffic/no
traffic, wireless/no wireless, 2.5" hd/CF. with and without the lan1621..
I'm running out of ideas at this point. It's running FreeBSD 6.1-p10 at the
moment, and the only thing I notice right now that could be causing any
issues is the Senao 5354 periodically going into a beacon stuck mode, which
I'm not worried about as it's a driver issue. Soo.. I'm looking for advice
on how to diagnose what could be going on? Maybe to determine if I have a
bad board or a dying power supply? Or any other ideas.
