[Soekris] Squid slow on Soekris 4801-60 ?

Hey out there,

I have installed OpenBSD on my 4801-60 and it works like a charm.
I've got a 6mbit ADSL connection and want to use squid for filtering and antivirus checking.... But after installing, it only works with 250kbytes per second.
When I go around the proxy and use the box for forwarding only, it works with full speed. (also if the proxy is still running in the background)
Is it a problem with the Soekris Box, OpenBSD or with squid ?
