Not sure what you mean, but the only include directive I can find in
the conf folder is in the Makefile:

> less /sys/i386/conf/Makefile
# $FreeBSD: src/sys/i386/conf/Makefile,v 1.9 2003/02/26 23:36:58 ru Exp $

.include "${.CURDIR}/../../conf/makeLINT.mk"

makeLINT.mk doesn't exist in conf, neither does LINT.  Anyway it's too
late! I've already asked freebsd-questions :)
