[Soekris] hda or hdb problem

Hey!
After trying several times I have never understood why this change??
I think this depends on how you format the CF-card! The reson:
I have for 2weeks ago should install 2 Soekris machine - both with 1gb CF
card in them!
The first one - I didn´t make at /boot partittion and this was hda
Second one - I did make a /boot partition and here it was hdb

Afterwards - the owner of the first one wanted a /boot partition - I
reinstalled it with the /boot partition - and the suddenly it was changed to
hdb !
So not sure - and please everyone correct me if I am wrong - BUT this was my
experience about the Soekris install with debian using boot/install via
network - quit funny experience !
