Indeed! This is Soekris' main shortcoming. There are many settings
out there where 128/256 MB are simply not enough, yet the CPU is more
than adequate!
I've been looking for 512MB or 1GB low-power Soerkis-like boards for a
while (EPIA and the like are not good enough because they need special
power supplies, making them both quite expensive AND power hungry);
and it doesn't matter if RAM is soldered on board or expandable...
Yet, despite this (I think important!) RAM issue, Soekris hardware is
quite good, compared to other manufacturers. I sure hope Soeren will
provide something with more RAM in the future - it's not really THAT
difficult, or is it?
