net4xx1 CF slot is for flashcards only, it connects to IDE.

CF in a PCMCIA adapter just appears like a normal PCMCIA card,
so do whatever you'd do for PCMCIA.

Maybe it would help to confirm the card works in, e.g. a laptop,
with a standard OS installation before shrinking things down?
