Ah, ok, thats a relieve. I was afraid I was going to have to xmodem a

What would you recommend I use? I didn't want to use fat, so I ruled  
out syslinux, and I ruled out lilo because its old I guess.

Ok, that's basically what I was planning. Grub wasn't to happy  
though, it kept complaining.

Hum, ok, the O'Reilly Embedded Linux book I've got implied otherwise,  
and I figured it would be a good choice for flash, since I don't  
intend to write often. I'll try ext2 for now I guess.
