Hmmm... their data sheet

lists 320 hours per month, which should be just fine.
But the max. load/unload cycles count is just 300,000.
On a 9 months old Hitachi Travelstar, smartctl already reports
969,806 cycles, with a health parameter down to 004 (so it
will probably die somewhere in the next weeks or months).
In light of this, 300,000 max cycles seem pretty short to me, or
is it not?
