[Soekris] FaQ

Hi,
I'm just about to buy a soekrisbox and I'm aiming at net4801. So far I have used an old ibm aptiva for firewall/routing and I'm used to openbsd.
I have looked for faq's but couldn't find any with my questions so I try here.

I prefer to have a 2,5' harddrive in the box instead of a flashcard. Does any 2,5' hardrive fit into the box? Or must there be some special brand?

If I use some adapter and plug it into my ordinary pc (i386) and then install openbsd there and then just plug it into the soekrisbox, will that work? From openbsd 3.6 there is a choice in the installation if I want to use comport for console and that seems to be the right choice for soekris.

This is my questions so far and it would be very kind if someone would have time to answer. I guess you have seen this question here a million times and I hope this isn't to annoying.
