[Soekris] Netgate cards on the Soekris net4521 boards

Hi Everyone,

We recently bought two net4521 boards from Soekris. I would be glad to get some info on the kinda cards people use on these boards. Some googling got me to the netgate's website. Have a bunch of questions...

Has anyone used any of the minPCI based cards on Soekris+Linux. I am especially interested in the "5354 ARIES MP" mini PCI card which does a/b/g. I understand from the webpage that the cards run using the madwifi drivers. And from the Madwifi FAQ page, I came to know that the driver is buggy and does not work for the 'Ad Hoc' mode? Can anyone confirm this? More specifically, has anyone used the Aethoros chipset based cards on the Soekris+Linux combination and was successful in using them in the Ad Hoc mode?

And one last question, are the Prism cards better supported than the Aethoros cards in Linux?
