[Soekris] cvs via ssh problem: "Corrupted MAC on input", is this a soekris vpn card problem?

Hello,

I've recently purchased a soekris net4801 with 2.5 harddrive and a
mini-pci vpn 1411 card(which I don't use for the moment).

When I try to cvs it fails with this error: 
# export CVSROOT=anoncvs at anoncvs.de.openbsd.org:/cvs
# cvs -q get -rOPENBSD_3_5 -P ports
? ports/converters/libiconv/w-libiconv-1.9.1
? ports/devel/gettext/w-gettext-0.10.40p1

Disconnecting: Corrupted MAC on input.
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages
if any)


I've tried different servers but all fail after a few seconds.
What is the problem?
Do I have a hardware problem?
