[Soekris] soekris/OpenBSD/carp/nat in colocation

Hi All,
I have an experimental colo soekris deployment I'm thinking about- and
wanted to get a good sanity check before I proceeded.
I'm looking at the idea of setting up 2 soekris boxes, running
OpenBSD/carp/pf in front of 5 servers, primarilly running web
applications. I basically just wanted to get an idea of performance-
to see if I'm not simply shooting myself here. If it works, it'd be
an amazingly inexpensive and replacable perimeter for a few boxes, and
even looks like it could fit into 1u!
PLAN:
I've got 5mbit (burstable to 10) coming in at this location, and can
easily have 2 cross-connects feeding the Soekris boxes IP addresses.
>From there, I'm planning to use pf to nat the addresses to the boxes
behind them.
QUESTION:
Is this sane? i.e. I can't guage how much traffic those little boxes
will be able to handle, and I haven't purchased any of them to test
things and get a feel for it, and most of my prior hosting experience
is with FreeBSD on substantially larger boxes...
Thanks for any input, experiences, or urls in advance!
Best,
.ike
