[Soekris] pxeboot without serial port access

I don't know of a way to do this from a running machine.  If it is 
possible to change CMOS values from a running system, then you might be 
able to...  Perhaps there's a magic IO port that lets you update the 
CMOS while the system is booted?  Soren?

As has been mentioned before, you can set the box to attempt PXE on 
every boot, and try the flash if PXE fails.  For that you need serial 
access:

 > cmoswrite 21 f0 80 81
 > cmoschecksum

The downside is that it takes several seconds longer to reboot, and you 
had better only bring up your PXE server when you need to restore the 
system...  Of course this doesn't help you if your serial port is 
inaccessible.
